• To understand the role of an expert witness.
• To understand how liability (negligence) and causation are established.
• To be aware of some of the main stumbling blocks for adequate defence of the defendant (dental health care professional).

Outcomes:

• Through examples of actual case reports and the key points learned, understand how to reduce/prevent the risk of litigation.
